Plum is always my favourite brand as it is a 100% vegan brand.It suits to all skin types including sensitive and acne prone skin.Plum has a massive range of makeup,skin and hair care products but from all today I'm going to review the Plum Chamomile & White Tea Ater-Sun Recovery Gel.So let's see how effective is this gel.


Product Claim & Features:

Going out and have party in the sun is fun.But rashes, skin irritation, and sun burns can spoil the after-party. This product claims that it has antioxidants, bio-sugars, and countless natural actives which calm, cool, hydrate and restructure troubled skin and help it bounce back to its usual cheerful self.

Plum says no to parabens, pthalates, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), DEA, PABA & animal derieved ingredients 100% vegan against animal testing.


How To Use:

 Dab on liberally after washing face and exposed parts of the body, any time after sun exposure.



My Experience With The Product:
My skin gets red after sun exposure and even get 2-3 shades darker. This after sun recovery gel helps in calm, refresh and cooling the skin and gives an instant relief. This gel doesn't recover my skin redness quickly but gives a soothing effect to my skin. It’s non-oily, non-sticky and absorbs into the skin almost instantly. I have been using it on my legs and arms but I got breakouts after using on face. This product is purely organic and free from chemicals.

It has biosugars which help in moisturizing the skin. Green tea reduces irritation, redness and swelling post sun exposure. White tea and olive leaf extracts help skin fight free radical damage. Licorice helps address discoloration caused by sun exposure.  Gotu kola boost collagen production to speed up recovery.

However, I feel it smells like liril/cinthol lime soap. Overall I'm pleased with this product and will always be in my purse during summer.


 Packaging:

 The after sun recovery gel comes in a standard plastic tube which comes enclosed in a cardboard box. The box bears all the product related information. The tube has a twist open type cap which makes the packaging a travel-friendly one.

Chamomile has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Besides, it is also highly soothing to the skin, and is considered to have the ability to neutralise skin irritants.

White tea extracts

Being especially rich in antioxidants, white tea extracts helps the skin fight oxidative damage that results from sun exposure,

Gingko biloba extracts

Gingko is a proven anti-ageing ingredient that fights the early signs of ageing like fine lines, wrinkles and dryness of skin.
